The smallest skip ie 3m3 is ideal for small clean ups. It is the equivalent size to approximately 4.5 small trailer loads.
The most popular size is 4m3 and is used for larger clean ups. This size has proven very popular with those cleaning up for vacant position of rental properties. It can be filled halfway with heavier items and then topped up with lighter items such as garden cuttings, timber, iron etc.
The 5m3 and 6m3 have a door that becomes a ramp to wheel items into the skip. This size is popular for major clean ups, renovations etc.
The larger skips ( 9m3, 10m3 & 12m3) are the size of the tray of a truck these are used for large jobs, or on building sites.

While we make every effort to place the skip in a position convenient to your task we are restricted by access for the delivery truck and also overhead clearance for the bin lifter. Bins can be placed in drivcways, on front lawns, over low fences and on footpaths if it doesn’t restrict pedestrian traffic.
The skip must be able to be lifted on the truck by the binlifter so it should not be shifted around a corner or under a carport or tree etc.
You can put almost anything in the skip except asbestos, chemicals and liquid waste such as paint & oils. Batteries can be collected by arrangement with the driver. Mattresses, Tyres and Gas Cylinders incur an extra charge.
We are licensed to transport asbestos but EPA requirements must be met. More information on conditions and costs can be obtained by contacting our office on (08) 8642 2266.
The load must be able to be tarped down and be safe to load and cart. Rubbish must not be able to fall out. Do not fill above rim.
2 tonne is allowed in the price – extra charges apply to excess. Generally rubbish does not usually weigh more than 2 tonne but bricks, tiles, concrete and soil can go over. (The binlifter on the truck that collects the 2m3 to 6m3 can only lift a maximum of 4 tonne.) It is recommended that these sizes be only half filled with heavy items. Lighter items can be place on top.
We suggest you place an order ahead of time to prevent disappointment especially for planned activity. But if you decide on the spur of the moment to clean up give us a call as we may be able to do same day deliveries if bookings are not too heavy. Bookings are recommended for Public Holidays and School Holidays.
